Once you’ve applied and been shortlisted for a job, we will ask that you take a short introduction video to support your CV.

This gives you the best chance possible to be considered for the role by giving you more control over the first impression the client receives because you get the opportunity to let your personality shine through where words on a CV cannot.

Before you start, please make sure you are in a well-lit room that is tidy, you are smartly dressed and visible in the shot.

You simply need to introduce yourself and highlight some of your experience and why you’re applying for that role, it can be short, snappy and concise.

Whilst filming, briefly introduce yourself, explain what you are currently doing in your role, briefly give an overview of your experience to date and add any information you may want to that isn’t shown on your cv

You can also re-record the video as many times as you like until you are happy with it!

If you need any help or advice through the process our consultants are on hand to support you, it’s far more relaxed than it may initially sound.

Example – If you are applying for a new butler vacancy, be sure to dress appropriately for the occasion. The role requires you to be smart and professional so this must come across in your video. Explain the butler work experience you have to date and the parts of the role and the aspects of private staffing that make you embrace the role. Apply this logic to other roles you may be applying for.
