What To Expect Working As A Chauffeur
Working as a Chauffeur for a private client can be a fantastic long-term career for those who enjoy providing a high level of dedication and service. The responsibilities of a chauffeur will be to transport the client to requested locations. You will be available and on-call to deliver and retrieve the client when requested. You may be asked to facilitate trips to and from the airport, to restaurants, meetings, social gatherings, and activities. You’ll be required to manage and maintain your vehicle daily, making sure that it is clean and safe for the road at all times. As a chauffeur, you’ll also be expected to uphold safety standards when driving, which means no consumption of alcohol while on the job. You’ll be responsible for logging the mileage and fuel costs, as well as keeping the vehicle properly fueled.
Anyone applying for the chauffeur position should be flexible, dependable, and have a flair for customer service. You will need to remain professional at all times, making the client feel comfortable and well cared for. Chauffeurs are expected to be punctual, have practical and mechanical ability, and work well under pressure. The chauffeur is expected to be flexible during working hours and available at any time to assist in transporting the client.
