We are recruiting for an experienced Executive Chef to join an extremely prestigious property in Abu Dhabi. The perfect chef will need to be well versed in international cuisines but primarily they will be expected to push the boundaries of experimenting with what food can be. Must have exceptional experience in management of high end kitchens and be able to run and manage a team of sous chefs and chefs de partie under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee general operations of the kitchen
  • Oversee kitchen staff, sous chefs and chefs de partie
  • Ensuring high quality of produce is used
  • Maintaining high standards of food presentations
  • Creating menus
  • Performing administrative tasks
  • Taking stock of food and equipment supplies
  • Doing purchase orders
Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience pushing the boundaries of food and constantly having a passion for pushing the boundaries of what food can be
  • Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of International cuisines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Available to work in a team
  • Friendly, team player attitude
  • Must have impeccable reference and to provide them at application stage
