Note

We are looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Housekeeper/Cook for an entrepreneurial family with 3 children between 6 and 16 years old. They have long standing staff such as a nanny and gardener who have worked for the family for many years due to the great working environment. The property is a stunning, high-end villa in Münsing, close to Lake Starnberg. The experienced candidate should have a background working as a housekeeper and competent cook and will work alongside a lovely team including 3 household staff.

Responsibilities

• Cooking lunch and dinner: vegetarian small lunches for the parents and dinners for the whole family (dinner does not need to be vegetarian)
• The candidate's priority will be to cook basic family lunches and dinners, cleaning of the family and staff kitchen and to organise laundry and linens.
• Cooking for children based on simple tastes such as (schnitzel, sausages, potatoes, etc)
• Laundry care for the parents, wardrobe management and ironing
• Friendly and positive housekeeper who enjoys leading and organising a household and cares for joyful perfection.
• Working closely with the family on a daily basis
• Ordering food shopping and collecting goods from the local market and town
• Cleaning of the two kitchens; staff and family kitchen daily
• experienced and reliable housekeeper
• Enjoy cooking: the shopping as well as the preparation of lunch and dinner. A small meal for the parents at lunchtime, the whole family in the evening.
• Laundry/clothes mainly for the parents.
• For the cleaning as well as the children's laundry, there is a lady who comes 4 days a week.

Ideal Candidate

• EU passport holder only
• Drivers licence
• Fluent English required and German a bonus
• Someone who is an excellent communicator and who can work alone confidently
• Background working as a private housekeeper and cook for a family household
• Working in villas, chalets or private households
• Someone who is comfortable living in a rural part of Germany
• Someone who is looking for a long-term permanent position
• You are cheerful and like to maintain and run the well-structured and organised household with loving perfection.

Package

Salary: from €4000 (net) per month
• Long-Term, permanent position.
• 37.5 - 40 working hours per week.
• Immediate employment.
• Monday - Friday: 10am - 18:30pm regulated working times and breaks.
• All public holidays off
• All school holidays for children off, with basic cleaning of the house required
