Note

We are recruiting for an extremely prestigious property in Abu Dhabi who are in need for an experienced and creative Japanese Chef. The perfect candidate would need to be well versed in all levels of Asian cuisines such as Japanese, Thai and Chinese. Must have experience with management of a kitchen but be happy to work with and report to an Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food is presented and served at the highest level
• Creating and assisting the Executive Chef with Asian style menus
• Ensure all stock is prepped and stored at the highest level
• Support all kitchen staff when required

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Japanese national would be an asset
• Experience pushing the boundaries of food and constantly having a passion for pushing the boundaries of what food can be
• Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of International cuisines
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Available to work in a team
• Friendly, team player attitude
• Must have impeccable reference and to provide them at application stage
