A long standing, valued client of mine is seeking a proactive Housekeeper for their property in Knightsbridge. Working alongside 3 other housekeepers, teamwork is key to ensure smooth flow of service throughout. The family comprises 2 principals, 3 children and 3 dogs, so a love for animals is essential. Your duties will include general housekeeping and care of bespoke furnishings, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management with experience in the care of delicate garments.

Responsibilities

• Laundry washing with experience in the care of delicate garments, handling of expensive clothing – hand washing, silks, cashmere, dry cleaning etc
• Wardrobe management for the principals
• General housekeeping and care of furnishings
• Assist in managing stock control, ordering household/cleaning supplies
• Regular deep cleaning when the principals are out of the home
• Caring for valuable possessions - training will be given where necessary
• Dog maintenance; bed changing, feeding, cleaning up, grooming.

Ideal Candidate

• Friendly, unflappable, and able to handle a demanding family at times
• Must have an eye for detail
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to use your initiative and work in a team and independently
• Punctual and reliable
• Understanding of the importance of discretion in the role

Package

Salary: £40,000 Gross Per Annum
• Working week: 40 hours per week over 5 days, including some weekends
