A wonderful family based predominately in Uruguay are looking for an experienced Maternity Nurse/NCS to join their growing family. Joining 2 other boys, 4 and 18 months old who have their own nannies. The baby is due around October 2023 and they are planning for their new addition to be born in Canada. The position is to start in Mid-September in Canada for the first month with the rest of the time in Uruguay or travelling with the family. You will be working on a 24/6 basis for the first few weeks. The family are looking for someone with a professional manner and warm approach, who is able to offer all round support to the parents. The ideal candidate will put practices into place whilst creating a calming and enjoyable environment at this special time. The family have multiple properties which are fully staffed and travel extensively. There are no pets at the properties.

Responsibilities
  • All aspects of new-born care:
  • Feeding, bathing, dressing, cleaning baby areas, settling, comforting, sterilizing bottles
  • Establishing a good routine
  • Implementing sleep protocol
  • Supporting development
  • Liaising and working in conjunction with nannies and other staff members
  • Nursery duties and managing the baby’s laundry and wardrobe
  • Supporting and communicating with parents
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong command of the English language and good communication skills
  • Norland Nanny trained or equivalent
  • 5+ years of NCS/baby nurse experience
  • Previous experience working for high-profile clients
  • Ability to work independently and in cohesion with other nannies
  • Flexible and willing to work both day and night shifts
  • Exhibit a loving, caring and professional personality
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Additional languages are not essential, but some Spanish would be welcomed
  • Excellent references required from previous employers
Package
    Salary: Competitive and DOE (due to contract)
  • 6-month contract
  • Live-in. Room share with the baby during shift. Separate room to use whilst off duty
  • Any travel Visas required will be taken care of by the family
