Note

We are looking for an experienced Sous-Chef for our clients luxury boutique collection of properties. The sous chef will act as the shift manager for the kitchen operations including Stewarding operations. This is a wonderful role for a chef looking to work in a beautiful location this summer season.

Responsibilities
  • Secure consistent quality level as set by the company's core standards and F&B concept in the kitchen and restaurant
  • Manage and co-manage all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum departmental profit
  • Together with the kitchen manager overlook controls and analyses, on an on-going basis, the level of the sales, costs, equipment and guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for following HACCP control sheets and HACCP program.
  • Being attentive to Guests
  • Accurately and promptly fulfilling Guests requests
  • Daily controls of cleanliness and maintenance in the kitchen area
  • Secure documentation in the Langley Hotels folder
  • Assist with all other duties as assigned
  • Be attentive, be friendly, smile
  • Participation in regular meetings, committees.
  • Weekly meeting with Head Chef and Management team
Ideal Candidate
  • EU Passport holders only
  • Drivers licence required
  • Able to commit to a full summer season from June until September 2023
  • English should always be used by communication within the company.
  • Background working in a similar role in hotels, chalets or villas
