Note

We are recruiting for a VVIP household in Abu Dhabi who are looking for a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join their team. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet goods that meet the high standards of the household's discerning clientele. You will work closely with the culinary team to develop new recipes and ensure that all products are of exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various types of desserts and pastries according to the household's preferences
• Develop and test new recipes to add to the pastry menu
• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and storage areas
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure that all products are of the highest quality and presentation
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
• Assist with menu planning and cost control
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a private household setting
• Passionate about creating visually stunning and delicious desserts
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity and innovation in recipe development
• Familiarity with nutrition and dietary restrictions
• Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
• Flexible and willing to adapt to changing needs and preferences of the household.

Salary: $5000 - $7500 per month DOE
• Live out accommodation provided
• 1 day off per week
• 30 days off per year
