We are recruiting for a chalet company with properties across Scandinavia. This is a temporary vacancy for 1 week in February 2018.
They are looking for a competent Cook/host to work for them for 1 week in February 2018 – the dates are 11th-18th (you would be going out on the 9th and returning on the 19th probably). The chalet is quite a basic property, it sleeps 13 people across 6 bedrooms and the guests for that week will be 3 families (6 adults, 7 children). Your role will be to put out continental breakfast (and do any hot breakfast requests), they then have ski school for 9am so they will be out the door nice and early. Then you will need to clear up and make afternoon tea (which you prep but leave out for them to help themselves to), plus doing the rooms. You will come back later to do a 2-course evening dinner.
You would obviously be responsible the cooking AND the cleaning and housekeeping. You will live off-site and you will be dropped off and picked up each day by a driver. They don’t operate the chalet all year round so they are just having it on a pop-up basis for this week. They want someone professional and discreet, who can look after someone famous. The menu will not be that difficult (see attached), but obviously they want nice food and you will be juggling the other duties too. You will definitely have time to ski if you want to as well. There will be a Resort Manager in place for support as well. The salary is £150-200 per day.
