The house you will be managing is a large seven-bedroom country home. It is the principal’s main residence. The principals have three children between aged between 12 and 17. The children are at boarding school during the week and home at the weekends.
You will be working alongside and also managing a secondary couple. For the majority of the year this couple is based on the estate but during the school holiday, this couple travel to the family’s holiday homes in the Alps and in Cornwall. One half of the secondary couple is a chef and will take care of the majority of the cooking. However, it is important that at least one of you can cook to cover when the secondary couple is absent.

Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm (possibly 1 weekend per month)
Salary: £700 – £800 NET per week between you

Responsible for the smooth running, success and profitability of restaurant. Management of and assisting in recruiting a strong and happy kitchen team. Keeping the kitchen accounts and admin in good order and maintaining the great supplier relations we have built. Re-working meus regularly according to the seasons, feedback and local produce available. Responsible for putting together function menus and planning outside catering events. You will need to work alongside the General Manager and Director to meet the needs of the business, finance and product.
REQUIREMENTS (NOT LIMITED TO):
This position requires a self-motivated, and experienced couple to help run a large, fully staffed property. We are looking for a maintenance manager and housekeeper who can keep the property running to a high standard.

Accommodation: Live in. You will have a cottage to yourself separate to the estate with your own garden.
Hours: 5 days a week. This is not a conventional 9-5 role and will require someone with a very flexible approach to the tasks involved, in order to embrace the full scope of the role. Flexibility is key!
They have never had a domestic couple before however their housekeeper is leaving soon whom they need to replace, plus they would really like someone who can maintain the property, assist the gardeners and keep on top of any jobs that need doing on the property. For this reason, they will need a couple who can come in and hit the ground running. The household staff also includes a nanny for the 2 young girls (1 & 3 years), a private chef and gardeners. You will be provided with separate accommodation not far from the property and a competitive salary.

Live-in couple required for a busy family home in River near Petworth, West Sussex, the family have 3 daughters all of whom are grown up but who visit often. You will be looking after a 7-bedroom house, gardens, tennis court, pool and stables.
They family have 3 dogs and some sheep, which you will be required to help look after as well as care for them in the family’s absence. This position is suitable for a couple who enjoy the variety of different duties in a household and mucking in where required including having responsibility of the security of the house when the family are away.
You will work 5 days per week, your days off will be during the week. You must therefore be happy to work most weekends. It is essential that you can both drive.

Part of this role will involve childcare so experience working with children in the past is a must and relevant qualifications desirable.
